“Who Are You?”

A personal animation test on subtle facial animation with a dramatic tone. I took this audio clip from the show “Walking Dead” and I really wanted to try and capture the mood and the emotion of the character speaking. It was difficult and A LOT of fun!

“Ninjarkour”

I’ve always wanted to do Parkour. Not just an animation but in real life. I’m not sure what it is, but there’s something very intriguing about it. Maybe it’s because some of them do back flips off buildings. Anyways, here’s a test of a ninja doing some Parkour maneuvers. I looked at lot of reference for this one.

“Cold Turkey”

This animation was an entry for the 11 Second Clubs December of 2012 competition. It was a lot of fun trying to come up with a concept for this specific clip. I just hope that I can move on just like this character… some day… some day…

“Bite”

Here’s a quick one. In this test I wanted to focus in on eye animation.

“Know it All”

I love this audio clip. I couldn’t stop laughing the first couple hours I was animating to it.

“Awesome”

I started this animation test the day after returning from a very much needed Las Vegas trip with my closest friends. This animation pretty much explains my trip.

“Dean” Rig

Here is a character I’ve modeled and rigged. The video shows the rigs functionality and features. This is still a work in progress.

This is a demo of some of the personal MEL Script tools I’ve been working on in Maya help rigging.
Features:

• Quick joint chain renamer
• Joint orient tools
• Quick “Null Grouped Control” that orients to joint
• Auto skeleton for biped and quadruped (Currently not shown in this version)
• Operation to create FK/IK switch, stretchy IK spine and loaded foot control
• Many control customizing tools and more…
